Examples of Good AK-47 values

SLR-95
Coming soon on the AK-47 World.com Rifles Page will be info on what are good AK-47's to buy and what are NOT such good AK-47 values. Hot Deal Header

NOTICE:  Saiga IZ series that some see for $350 (they forget there's shipping charges & expect dealers to sell at cost only - no profit or mark-up) - but need $100 of parts & labor to move their trigger group to where standard AK-47 rifles have them are NOT GOOD DEALS - while new Legion SGL-21 & 31 Series Saiga models cost over $700 - but $350 Saiga IZ series AK's ARE NOT DESIRABLE AK-47 models - as they use HARD-TO-FIND 'non-standard' AK-47 MAGS (clips) that cost over $40 + shipping each!

So, unless someone doesn't do valid comparisons - a WELL-MADE Chinese MAK-90, NHM-90 or Hungarian SA-85M - usually under $600 are a MUCH BETTER VALUE than a Saiga or VEPR Russian-made AK-47 Rifle! & for those who desire MILLED-Receiver AK-47's - the $800 - $900 average price for thumbhole Bulgarian SA-93, SLR-95, or SLR-96 beats the over $1000 prices for other MILLED AK-47's with silly bayonet lugs - like the Arsenal SA-M7, or a Poly-Tech Legend - with the Century Arms 1960 Polish Milled-Receiver AK-47 being like everything else from Century - a Gamble !!!

Attention ALL Gun Owners with Bank of America Credit Cards & Checking Accounts !!!

We all know guns are politically incorrect. But cash is king,...or at least,...it used to be...

For us gun people, our sub-culture is always getting squeezed out by the mainstream & other 'PC' instuitions. First, Craigslist banned guns and ammo, then Ebay, as PayPal started refusing to process any transaction linked to guns. And then Chase Bank started getting touchy about gun businesses who had accounts with them. And now,...Bank Of America:

Bank of America vs. McMillan Firearms Manufacturing

This was copied and pasted from McMillan's FB page on 4/20/2012:

McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, McMillan Firearms Manufacturing, McMillan Group International have been collectively banking with Bank of America for 12 years.

Today Mr. Ray Fox, Senior Vice President, Market Manager, Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking came to my office. He scheduled the meeting as an “account analysis” meeting in order to evaluate the two lines of credit we have with them. He spent 5 minutes talking about how McMillan has changed in the last 5 years and have become more of a firearms manufacturer than a supplier of accessories.

At this point I interrupted him and asked “Can I possible save you some time so that you don’t waste your breath? What you are going to tell me is that because we are in the firearms manufacturing business you no longer what my business.”

“That is correct” he says.

I replied “That is okay, we will move our accounts as soon as possible. We can find a 2nd Amendment friendly bank that will be glad to have our business. You won’t mind if I tell the NRA, SCI and everyone one I know that Bank of America is not firearms industry friendly?”

“You have to do what you must” he said.

“So you are telling me this is a politically motivated decision, is that right?”
Mr Fox confirmed that it was. At which point I told him that the meeting was over and there was nothing let for him to say.

I think it is import for all Americans who believe in and support our 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms should know when a business does not support these rights. What you do with that knowledge is up to you. When I don’t agree with a business’ political position I can not in good conscience support them. We will soon no longer be accepting Bank of America credit cards as payment for our products.

And speaking of Anti-Gun Types taking unwarranted action against Gun-Related Companies - after over 14 years of mailing packages from the Main Denver GMF Mail Processing Center, AK47World.com started having packings 'Go Missing' with increasing frequency in the last few months !

Recently we were told by another Postal Clerk @ the Denver GMF, that a devout Obama supporter, whose cursed at us "Republican Gun Nuts' for the type of packages we send, has been THROWING AWAY parcels we sent & while Postal Inspectors say they've talked to him, we're NOW AVOIDING that U.S. Postal Employee to mail packages, until further action is taken !

27 Rifles Stolen from California Military Base

Published July 30, 2011

FORT IRWIN, Calif. –  More than two dozen assault rifles have been stolen from a Southern California military base, and investigators sought the public's help as they looked to arrest suspects and recover the weapons, federal officials said Friday.
Twenty-six AK-74 assault rifles and one Dragunov sniper rifle were stolen from a supply warehouse at Fort Irwin in San Bernardino County on July 15, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives says in a statement.
Some arrests have been made and one rifle has been recovered, but the agency is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to further arrests, the statement said.
"Community participation is necessary to improve the likelihood that ATF and our law enforcement partners will track down the firearms as well as the criminals who have sought to destabilize our community through illegal activity," ATF Special Agent in Charge John A. Torres said in the statement.
ATF spokesman Special Agent Christian Hoffman could not say when reached by phone how many were arrested, whether they were military or civilian or what motive they may have had.
He referred those questions to military officials, who made the arrests. Phone and email messages left late Friday for a spokesman from the U.S. Army Criminal Investigations Command, which is investigating the theft along with the ATF and the FBI, were not immediately returned.
Hoffman also could not say why word of the theft did not become public for two weeks, but said his agency decided to issue a news release because of the potential danger the loose weapons posed.

These are Quality Rifles built on refinished Bulgarian AK-74 kits, US Nodak Spud receivers, and new US Stainless steel barrels" - and WONDER about WHY No Military users in the World today use Stainless steel barrels - as stainless steel barrels get MUCH too brittle very quickly - inviting failure to extact issues ???

And this is why you never, ever go for new Lancasters. The chances of them going to shit are too great, and when they do, you have to endure the customer service that earned Lancaster Arms an F rating by the BBB.

Also, due to their behavior with customers +/or AK47World.com - business with these entities CAN NOT be recommended:

1. Greg Abbott of Personal Defense Systems in Portland, Oregon

2. Buddy Hinton of Houston, Texas - moderator of biased website

3. Lancaster Arms - just look at the BBB complaints on them !

4. Joe Cox, now-indicted owner of Joeken Firearms.

5. Weapons Unlimited/'Shoot Straight'(s) of Florida.

6. Atlantic Firearms

7. Victor Bean - Promoter, Southern Classic Gun Shows, Orlando, Florida

8. Suncoast Gun Shows - based in Ohio, but doing business in Florida - due to their legal problems in Florida!

9. Century Arms International - just Google them or do a YouTube search !

10. Hesse Arms/Vulcan/Blackthorne - Google them and see !!!

LETTER FROM Dianne Feinstein to OBAMA (Nov. 2010):The Honorable Barack H. ObamaThe White HouseWashington, D.C. 20500

...Dear Mr. President:

I write to urge you to review enforcement of the Gun Control Act of 1968 (GCA) provision, 18 U.S. Code Section 925(d)(3), which prohibits the importation of firearms except those that are “generally recognized as particularly suitable for or readily adaptable to sporting purposes.” Previous Administrations have used this authority to limit the importation of military-style assault firearms, and it could once again be a helpful tool in preventing the gun trafficking that is fueling the horrific gun violence in Mexico, the Southwest border region, and many cities and towns across our nation.Since December 2006, more than 30,000 people have been killed in Mexico in drug-related violence. Every day, there are reports of ruthless and brutal gun murders as Mexican drug trafficking organizations (DTOs) fight for control of smuggling routes and terrorize anyone who might get in their way. The DTOs have killed mayors, judges, and other officials who have tried to stop the carnage. They have even targeted young people, murdering 14 teenagers at a birthday party in Ciudad Juarez in October of last year.Regrettably, firearms trafficked from the United States help fuel the violence in Mexico. Of the firearms recovered by the Government of Mexico and traced through ATF in the past 4 years, more than 50,000 were manufactured in, or imported into, the United States prior to being recovered in Mexico. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and other federal, state and local law enforcement are working to stop this gun trafficking and related violence, but they need additional help. The Administration recently took an important step forward with ATF’s initiative to collect information on multiple sales of semi-automatic assault rifles from Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs) in California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. I applaud you for this initiative. However, much more must be done.Under the GCA, the Administration has the authority to prohibit the importation of non-sporting firearms. In 1989, in response to growing drug gang violence, the ATF under President George H.W. Bush denied applications to import a series of semiautomatic rifles that it found were designed and intended to be particularly suitable for combat rather than sporting applications. Similarly, in 1997, President Clinton used this authority and ordered ATF to conduct an expedited review to determine whether modified semiautomatic assault-type rifles were properly importable under the statutory sporting purposes test. In April 1998, ATF determined that rifles with the ability to accept a detachable large capacity military magazine “are not generally recognized as particularly suitable for or readily adaptable to sporting purposes and are therefore not importable.”Since the Clinton Administration’s efforts, the GCA’s prohibition against non-sporting firearms has not been aggressively enforced, and many military-style, non-sporting rifles have flowed into the United States civilian market. Some of the rifles are cheap AK-type variants from former Eastern bloc countries, while others are more expensive, high-tech weapons. All of them, however, share military-style characteristics that should make them ineligible for import. Furthermore, it appears that some importers are bringing in rifle parts and reassembling them with a small number of domestically manufactured components. This practice has gone unchecked, despite Section 922 (r) of the GCA, which prohibits using imported parts to assemble any semiautomatic rifle or any shotgun which is identical to any rifle or shotgun prohibited from importation under 18 U.S. Code Section 925(d)(3).I urge you to review enforcement of the GCA and take any regulatory steps necessary to stop the both the importation of all military-style, non-sporting firearms, and the assembly of those firearms from imported parts. We must ensure that law enforcement has all the necessary resources and tools needed to stop the gun violence that is taking a deadly toll in Mexico and in our country. I look forward to working with you toward that goal. Thank you for your attention to this urgent issue.Sincerely,Dianne FeinsteinChairmanUnited States Senate Caucus on International Narcotics Controlcc: Eric Holder, Attorney GeneralKenneth Melson, Acting Director of the ATF
